I completed my training as an Occupational Therapist in 2014 and have specialised in neurodivergence since this time. My passion is assessment work and helping children, young people and adults understand themselves, their strengths and their differences. In addition to this, I have also worked with neurodivergent individuals offering post-diagnosis psychoeducation, work on anxiety and low mood, obsessive compulsive disorder and eating disorders individually and within a group setting.

If you could analyse and provide therapy for any fictional character from a book, movie, or TV show, who would it be and why?
That’s a tough one but I think it would have to be the lovely ‘Piglet’ from Winnie-the-Pooh who has a great heart but needs help to realise that he is so much more than a “Very Small Animal”.
What is one piece of advice you would share with others, and why?
“To thine own self be true”. This is something I resonate with increasingly over time, especially when I consider neurodivergence, my own and that of others.
