We’re expanding and we’re looking for experienced freelance professionals to join us; Including: psychologists, psychiatrists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, paediatricians and other specialist therapists.

Who are we?

At Autism & ADHD Assessment Hub, we provide high-quality, independent assessments and support across autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, and dyslexia for both children and adults.

We do not compromise on quality. Our autism and ADHD assessments are delivered in line with gold-standard NICE guidelines by a multidisciplinary team of fully qualified HCPC- and GMC-registered professionals. We use a blended approach of in-person and remote appointments across our growing network of hubs throughout the UK.

Our dyslexia & dyspraxia assessments are conducted in line with SASC (SpLD Assessment Standards Committee) guidelines, supplied by fully qualified Specialist SpLD teachers & occupational therapists using recognised, standardised assessment tools.

We are continuing to grow our multidisciplinary team and welcome applications from:

  • Specialist SpLD Teachers
  • Therapists (pre- and post-diagnostic support)

We understand that an assessment is just one part of the journey. That’s why we offer a full range of pre- and post-diagnostic support, helping individuals and families gain clarity, build confidence, and access the right support to thrive.

What we want to achieve?

We aim to have 50 hubs operational by the end of 2026, covering every region of the UK.

Our goal is to make high-quality, neuroaffirmative support and assessments accessible to everyone, while fostering a positive neurodivergent identity.

What you need?

In order to qualify to join our team, you’ll need:

Autism and ASD Assessments

(Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Paediatricians, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists)

  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience working with neurodivergent children and/or adults
  • Formal training and gained substantial experience in using gold-standard assessment tools, including ADOS-2ADI-RACE(+), and/or DIVA-5 (assessments only)
  • HCPC or GMC registration (for assessors) or registered
  • GMC Specialist registration (psychiatrists only)
  • Ability to deliver goal-based, neurodiversity-affirmative therapeutic interventions (for post-diagnostic support roles)

Dyslexia Assessments

(Specialist Teachers in Specific Learning Difficulties – SpLD)

  • Minimum of 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience working with children or adults with specific learning differences
  • Level 7 SpLD qualification
  • A valid Assessment Practising Certificate (APC)
  • Formal training in standardised assessment tools and experience producing diagnostic reports in line with SASC guidelines
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to provide clear, practical recommendations

 Dyspraxia (DCD) Assessments

(Occupational Therapists)

  • Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience working with neurodivergent children and/or adults
  • Formal training and substantial experience using recognised assessment tools, including:
    Movement ABC / MABC-2, DASH, Adult DCD Checklist (ADC), and Beery VMI
  • HCPC registration
