Our East Kent hub serves the people Kent, specifically East Kent, and the surrounding local area. Here at our East Kent hub, we cater for autism, ADHD and combined assessments for children and adults of all ages.
Our team of HCPC registered clinicians are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of assessment and support using the latest diagnostic tools which are compliant with the gold standard NICE guidelines.
Autism Assessments
We offer comprehensive and accurate child and adult autism assessments in East Kent to identify the core symptoms and provide dedicated support post-assessment.
The core characteristics of autism remain ever present throughout childhood and into adulthood but with the correct diagnosis and support, individuals with autism can thrive.
Our autism assessments are £2,095, which includes a £195 initial consultation cost. We also offer a flexible payment plan.

We offer comprehensive and fully tailored child ADHD assessments that are designed to understand your needs, or the needs of your child. Our ADHD assessments provide you with the clear and accurate answers you deserve.
Our team will work together to assess you or your child using the latest QB diagnostic screening technology.
Our ADHD assessments are £1,495 and this includes a £195 initial consultation fee. We also offer flexible payment plans.

What are the advantages to gaining a diagnosis?
There are multiple benefits to gaining a diagnosis.
A diagnosis can help people with neurodiversity to access interventions that are helpful to them, in terms of meeting requirements for safety, acceptability, efficacy and effectiveness with people meeting the same diagnostic criteria.
A diagnosis can also ensure that reasonable adjustments are made to a person’s care and that interventions are appropriately adapted.
A diagnosis can help facilitate access to other forms of statutory protection. For example, an autism diagnosis may be considered when a person seeks an Education, Health and Care Plan.
For some people, receiving a diagnosis may serve as validation in terms of them understanding themselves and their individual outlook on the world. This might also help to alleviate any feelings of difference and boost confidence. This can also assist in enabling people to access greater social support from within the neurodiverse community.
Do I need a GP referral?
No – you can self-refer for an assessment through the Autism Assessment Hub via our Make a Referral page.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we offer flexible payment options over 3, 6, 9 and 12months. Subject to credit checks or internal affordability review.
Can I claim for the assessment through my health insurance?
No. We don’t currently accept funding via private health insurance providers. But you may be able to use our services and claim back the fees dependant on your insurance processes and procedures.
How do I go about getting a private diagnosis?

From what age can you assess a child?
We assess children from age of 5 for autism at all our hubs, age 6 for ADHD (and combined), age 8 for Dyslexia, age 6 for Dyspraxia.
We offer an autism under 5 pathway for children for children age 3 & 4 at our Solihull, Liverpool, Manchester & London Hubs. This is a specialist service led by an experienced paediatrician. Ask our team for more details.
What is your waiting time for an appointment?
Currently we aim to offer a first assessment appointment within 2 – 4 weeks of an initial screening (lead times vary).
Will my assessment be face to face or remote?
Yes, a majority of our assessments include a blended approach of face-to-face and remote assessment sessions. The only exception is adult ADHD assessments that can be conducted completely remotely if preferred.
