Our Clinicians

Our expert team at the Autism & ADHD Assessment Hub are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and personalised assessment that truly seeks to understand your child’s unique needs. As part of the Antser Group, we bring over two decades of experience in carrying out assessments for local authorities, solicitors, and private individuals and organisations.

Our multi-disciplinary team of expert clinicians will work together to assess your child’s development using the QB diagnostic screening and Young DIVA-5 or ACE tools.

A dedicated case handler will be assigned to you throughout the assessment journey, providing a single point of contact and ensuring that your questions and concerns are addressed promptly.

The QB test is a diagnostic screening tool used to objectively capture information to assess a child for ADHD. It’s an important part of the assessment process and uses infra-red markers to measure a child’s ability to concentrate, movement and impulsivity. The test is done at home using a PC or laptop and usually takes around 15-20 mins depending on the child’s age.

The ACE (ADHD Child Evaluation) is a semi structured clinical interview and is administered to the child’s parents or carers.  Sometimes involving the child depending on their age. It looks at core symptoms of ADHD in childhood and to what extent they impair the child’s functioning. This is completed remotely and usually takes 1-2 hours.

Alternatively, Young DIVA-5 may be used depending on the assessors’ experience and training.  Both of these tools are semi structured clinical interviews and are widely used both in the NHS and private clinics and can be used interchangeably. Both tools are NICE guidelines compliant.

Feedback session takes place remotely, after receiving your comprehensive report making it convenient for you to participate from the comfort of your own space.

Our assessment is designed to be a supportive and child-centred experience. We’ll discuss all findings and present the outcome to you within clear timescales, once the assessment is complete. With our expertise and personalised approach, you can trust that you’re getting the best possible understanding of your child’s needs and the support they require to thrive.
