Dyspraxia Assessments
Well-validated diagnostic tools to ensure our assessments are up to the highest standards
We're here to helpProfessional Adult Dyspraxia Assessments
If coordination, organisation or motor planning has always been challenging, an adult dyspraxia assessment can help explain why.
At AAH, we are able to complete a full screen for several Neurodivergent conditions including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autism and ADHD all in the same session. This reduces the number of sessions you have to spend with clinicians and gives you access to a multidisciplinary team who will work alongside one another.
The screening will identify which conditions are showing markers for full assessment and our experienced team will discuss with you about progressing with assessments and accessing support as necessary.

The Assessment Process
Adult dyspraxia assessments are designed to provide a full understanding of how coordination, planning and processing challenges affect daily life. The process typically includes:
1. Pre-Assessment Questionnaires — Covering developmental history, education, work, and daily life challenges.
2. Diagnostic Assessment Session — standardised tasks and structured activities assessing motor coordination, processing speed, organisation, and planning.
3. Report and Clinical Review — Following the assessment, the assessor will analyse the results alongside the background information provided. You will receive a comprehensive written report outlining the findings, whether the results are consistent with dyspraxia, and practical recommendations for support.
4. Feedback Session — Once the report is complete, you will be offered a feedback session with the assessor to talk through the findings, answer any questions, and discuss the recommended next steps for supporting your child.
